Assuming the computer has a free USB port, look into making a bootable Ubuntu thumb drive. It sounds way scarier than it is. It's helped me get into systems when they otherwise wouldn't boot, and allowed me to copy important files before formatting.

Memory is in a broader range of consumer products these days than before. Prices shoot up every time they go to put out a new phone (obviously), but everything from smart appliances to some higher end children's toys have an amount of memory in them.

DRtC is probably the best roguelike I've ever played (if it counts as one, the more I read of the term the less I think it fits)

I find it more useful these days to speak in terms of Roguelike elements. In this case, loads of randomization, and permadeath.

It comes from two places. The first is Kung Fu Kenobi's Big Adventure, and the second is various references my social circle have made connecting me to 'Wise Old Ben'. Kungfu Kenobi emerged from that and just sorta stuck.

Yeah, humble monthly has generally treated me pretty well. I've been a subscriber for a little while now, and I haven't been dissapointed yet. 12 bucks a month is worth it imo

I've been in it for a year, and it averages out to being worth it IMO. If I tally the number of games I got that I would have bought for $5 on Steam, I'm coming out ahead.

And that's not considering the hidden gem factor. Like, it's hard to put an objective value on a game like DiRT Rally, a game I never would have bought (or even considered pirating), but that has become one of my favorites.

Depends. If it was my mother, that would be pretty shocking since she's taken in refugees and even gone overseas to assist in delivering humanitarian aid. I might be inclined to support her since she'd need to have gotten pretty jaded by those experiences. Y'know, maybe she's got her reasons.

Some of my uncles have been legitimately dick bagged by the Canadian government over our immigration policies, too.
